The closing is the time in which our Closing Officer meets with the buyer and seller to sign all documents necessary to transfer ownership of the property and complete the real estate transaction. A settlement statement (HUD) is prepared that discloses all fees, charges and credits associated with the subject transaction. Usually the real estate agents for the buyer and seller are present at the closing.
